At SLS, we are committed to providing educational excellence for pre-kindergarten aged children, in a warm, open, and welcoming environment. Our curriculum focuses on intellectual, social, and emotional development. We strive to teach children to be independent, self-reliant, and capable students. Our goal is to instill a love of learning and intellectual curiosity in each individual child.

Each class - Two’s, Three’s, Four’s and Pre-K - includes language arts, math, music, and art. All programs have been developed to teach children to approach new situations with a positive, enthusiastic, open mind. SLS is proud of its track record of preparing young students for kindergarten and supporting families in finding the best elementary school for their individual child.

We accept applications after the birth of your child.

Children must be 2 years and 6 months of age to begin our program. Children who are not 2 years and 6 months old by the start of school may apply, but must wait until they meet that age requirement to attend school.

Two’s
2 years, 6 months to 3 years old
Child should turn 2 1/2 by Oct. 1

Three’s
3 years to 4 years old
Child should turn 3 by Oct. 1

Four’s
4 years to 5 years old
Child will typically turn 4 after May 1

Pre-K
4 years, 6 months and older
Child should turn 4 by May 1

You will receive a confirmation that your application was received. Admissions notifications will be emailed on Friday, February 6, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year. Upon acceptance, families will have one week to respond and pay their non-refundable $5,000 deposit.
